Good Friday ...... Alcohol Inks

We haven't used alcohol inks for ages, it's great to get them out and do a batch of papers and foils at one crafty sitting and because they smell pretty strong we go into the onsite shed. Lennie ( one of my carers) and I packed up inks and substrates and spent a creative couple of hours trying out different techniques, Lennie is a novice and to be hones probably around my 4th time so nice to show someone else, the cells always make eveyone wow.

We recorded a reel so that will be uploaded pretty soon so you can see more of whats going on but basically we used Ranger adhesive foil, heavy stock Ranger specialised card and a generic one which i have to say worked just as well and probably quarter of the price so keep an eye out for those.

We have got around 20 pages done in the 2 hours, we had a super chill time, very mindful and great for our mental health. I hope this has inspired you to get your inks out of that dusty storage tin and enjoy the process too.
